What's it with Mr. Mourinho and Arsenal really or should i say Mr. Wenger? Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho mocked Arsenal’s FA Cup success after he snubbed the opportunity to congratulate Arsene Wenger.
The Blues touched down in Sydney as part of their end of season tour when he was asked if he had a message for his bitter rival following the 4-0 win over Aston Villa that meant they had recorded a record 12th FA Cup success.
Arsenal’s cup victory also meant Wenger is now the most successful boss in the competition in the post war era.
But despite the achievement Mourinho was not generous mood when asked if he had a message for the Frenchman, with the Mirror reporting he simply said: “No.”
Mourinho had continued his rant against Wenger last week during his speech at the POTY awards night when he mocked Arsenal for only playing well for three months of the season.
Wenger then hit back by saying big teams had a responsibility to “win with style” – a clear reference to Chelsea’s boring tag.
The pair have had various spats over the years with Wenger’s shove on Mourinho early in the season just finished reflecting how much the Portuguese has got under his skin.
