Arsenal almost there!Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech would complete his long awaited £10.9m Arsenal move on Monday. The two clubs had already agreed on a fee as well as Cech agreeing personal terms and all that was left was the medical. Well Cech had his medical yesterday and has passed the medical examination.
The Chelsea legend who has been at the club for 11 years would become Arsenal's highest paid Goalkeeper ever and makes the move across London on an extraordinary recommendation specially from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic with Boss Jose Mourinho totally against the move. He would be confirmed as Arsenal's first choice with the expectation that just bought colombian stopper would depart the club. The Chelsea exodus continues though as Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon is said to be following the Czech to the gunners. The pair had first worked together at French club Rennes. Courtois might now end up bringing in he's own goalkeeping coach with links to Guy Martens who worked with him at Genk but recently left the club. The deal is seen as a major coup for the gunners who want to really challenge for the title next season. Cech would eventually become the club's second signing after they confirmed the signing of Vlad Dragomir as their first signing.
