Cech to undergo Arsenal medical ahead of move

Petr Cech is to undergo a medical at Arsenal today ahead of his moved across London. The deal has reached its final stages as a fee of £11 million has already been agreed as well as personal terms which are believed would make the Czech the highest paid Goal keeper in the club's history.

Abramovich is understood to have given Cech his word that he could join the club of his choice last summer, provided a suitable offer came in, as recognition of his 11 brilliant years for the club.  Cech's first game for Arsenal would likely be the Community Shield at Wembley on August 2. Meanwhile Chelsea have earmarked Asmir Begovic as their choice to replace the Czech goalkeeper but he's club stoke want a money transfer as well Victor Moses to be included in any deal. Nothwithstandig a bid for the Bosnian is expected to go in from the blue in the coming days.
