Manchester United flag flown in space?

Manchester United flag flown in space

Well that is what it seems as Manchester United’s club flag is now the first ever (football club flags)  in space thanks to one Russian Red Devil.  All just seems to be working in the favour of the Red Devils right now and there’s no denying that.
Alexey Yakovlev sent his beloved flag of the Old Trafford club into space thanks to friends on the International Space Station.
Yakovlev, who lives in the Chkalovsky region of Moscow, passed the flag on to NASA astronaut Steve Swanson who flew the red, white and black banner while the craft orbited the Earth.

Russian Red Devil Alexey Yakovlev gave the club's flag to astronaut Steve Swanson on his space exploration trip. Now the supporters plan to present the unique flag to the club when they visit Moscow to take on CSKA in their Champions League tie on October 21.

Speaking to Red News fanzine, Yakovlev said: “I decided to send the MUFC flag to bring some space energy to the club.
“I am very proud of what I did because United means a lot to me. We’ve waved our flag up in space – nobody can make it any higher!”.
This might be an ackward situation but at least they have this bragging right. So y'all should start sending your club flags to NASA. Who knows maybe your Club's flag might just be the first hoisted on the moon...lool. Ackward stuff eh!
The Red Devils however face faltering Arsenal in a mouth watering top of the table encounter at the Emirates on Sunday.
