Manchester United enter Begovic race, want to hijack Chelsea's £8million move for Stoke City goalkeeper

Premier League champions Chelsea have opened talks with Stoke over a swoop for keeper Asmir Begovic
Manchester United or Chelsea for Asmir Begovic?

Chelsea fear Manchester United are ready to hijack their swoop for Bosnia and Herzegovina goalkeeper Asmir Begovic. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has identified the Stoke stopper as the man to replace Petr Cech, who completed his Arsenal move last week.

The Blues have however been in negotiation talks with the Stoke  to agree a fee for the Bosnian and have pushed hard to complete a deal for him over the past few days but it seems  their urgency to strike an agreement with Stoke is arising  from concerns that rivals Manchester United are planning to make their own move for the keeper which would seem a better move for him considering Manchester United might soon loose their current No. 1 goalkeeper to Real Madrid. Louis van Gaal would surely be in the market for a replacement and Begovic fits the bill perfectly.
Noticing this though Jose wants a deal for Begovic rapped up as soon as possible to avoid a transfer tussle with United which they might loose also considering he'll only be back up to Chelsea no.1 Thibaut Courtois.
Chelsea, who have already had a £6million bid rejected by the Stoke, will intensify their efforts to land the 28-year-old this week.
