Finally some European Club football returns as West ham defeat FC Lusitans in Europe qualifer

West Ham recorded their first win of their European campaign this season in front of thei home fans by coasting to a 3-0 victory against FC Lusitans of Andorra. The game was handled temporarily by the hammers Academy Manager Terry Westley as he thrust some youngsters straight into the team notably Midfielder Reece Oxford who became the club's youngest ever first team  player at the age of 16.
Meanwhile new boss Slaven Bilic was earlier at the beginning of the game introduced to the crowd who turned out en-masse to support their team and might just have been impressed with the players. It took about 37 minutes before the opening goal could be scored as Diafra Sakho met a Mauro Zarate cross and headed home to give the hammers the lead.
