Warri Wolves have indicated that they would be interested in the sale of their hitman Gbolahan Salami if the opportunity came by. The forward has been a key figure for the Warri based Club since his move from Enyimba.This season, he has scored vital goals for the club in the Glo Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup.He has also impressed on the international scene
with Nigeria recently on the score sheet for the Super Eagles in their Africa Cup of Nations game against Chad with a pitch of a goal and there are speculations that he could be set to ditch Warri Wolves for a move abroad.
Warri Wolves have however made it clear they will not stand in his way in case he decides to seek greener pastures outside the shores of the country. The Club Media Officer Moses Etu in a chat with Complete Sports stated the stance of the club saying;
“Gbolahan is a key player for us but if any club indicate interest in signing him, we will be willing to listen to them,”said Etu in a chat with completesportsnigeria.com.
“But it is important for the price to be right and be in tune with his quality and status.”
