Today's Transfer Gossip column...

Axel Witsel is being eyed by Chelsea

Chelsea make an 'ambitious' move for Axel Witsel, Liverpool are tracking Monaco winger Lucas Ocampos and Sergio Aguero bats off more Real Madrid talk...

'AMBITIOUS' WITSEL MOVE?
Chelsea are chasing Zenit St-Petersburg midfielder Axe Witsel with John Obi Mikel reportedly on his way out at Stamford Bridge.
It's a potential move, that with Roman Abramovich's obvious Russian connections, could well prove true, but it's certainly not by any means 'ambitious' as the Daily Star report.
Both the Daily Star and the Daily Express have suggested a fee of around £24m will secure the services of the 26-year-old Belgium international. Yep, there's still nothing 'ambitious' in that figure.
Witsel will prove an upgrade on Mikel though, who looks set for a move to Turkey as his career starts to wind down.

LIVERPPOOL CHASE MONACO MAN
A day after PSG's Lucas Digne was linked with Liverpool, today another Lucas has been mentioned as a target for Brendan Rodgers - Lucas Ocampos.
Ocampos is a 20-year-old Argentine winger, who is 'highly-rated', according to the Daily Telegraph.
And that's about it, because we'll admit we know nothing about the Buenos Aires-born player who signed for Marseille on loan in February and scored once in 12 appearances...how's that?
He's got everything, according to Wikipedia - Power, pace, dribbling ability, a strong shot with both feet, good technique and good heading accuracy.
Liverpool better move quick.

AGUERO 'HAPPY' AT CITY
Man City star Sergio Aguero has reiterated his desire to stay at The Etihad despite continued talk of a move to Real Madrid.
Aguero is currently tearing up the Copa America and has once again been talked about as a strike target for the La Liga giants.
Aguero is 'happy' he can fulfil his Champions League ambitions with City and move away this summer is very unlikely, but there's a feeling it's just a matter of time before Aguero's head is turned enough.
Madrid are unlikely to go away and this time next year could be decisive in the 27-year-old's career.
