Brazil International Midfielder Ramires  is set to accept a new 5-year-deal offered to him by his club Chelsea. The Brazilian is highly rated by Chelsea Boss Jose Mourinho and talks are already underway. The talks are expected to be completed swiftly though as the 28-year-old is very  keen on staying in london with the blues and Chelsea boss who likes the Brazilians versatility and workrate.
Ramires has made 147 appearances for Chelsea scoring 15 goals and played a crucial role in the club’s triumphant Champions League campaign in 2011-2012 although he was suspended for the final itself.
Ramires is not the only Chelsea player expected to be rewarded with a new deal this summer with talks having already taken place over an improved contract for defender Nathan Ake.
The 20-year-old Dutch under-21 international signed a five-year deal in 2013 but negotiations have taken place over a new contract. Ake was included in Mourinho’s first team squad last season but has been linked with a season-long loan to Middlesbrough for 2015-16.Meanwhile Chelsea have confirmed that Ramires's teammate John Obi Mikel would not be leaving the club.
