Today's Transfer Gossip

Madrid interested in Koscielny replacing Ramos?

Di Maria going nowhere despite Bayern interest, Koscielny to replace Ramos, Liverpool move for Clyne and Bacca, Cabella heading home...

 BRIDES FOR PEDRO
That's the headline on Mundo Deportivo (well, 'Novias para Pedro'), who claim that PSG, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Liverpool are all interested in Barcelona's Spanish forward Pedro, who started just 15 La Liga games last season.
Somehow we suspect that Pedro who just got married, would not have signed a Barcelona deal until 2019 if he did not want to stick around and win shedloads more medals while being back-up to Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

TURAN FOR CHELSEA
On Wednesday, Arda Turan's agent said his client quite fancied the Premier League and on Thursday, Spanish newspaper AS claims that Chelsea are his likely destination, following a well-worn path trodden by Diego Costa, Filipe Luis and Thibaut Courtois.

Luis could well be going in the opposite direction, with reports suggesting that the left-back could be a makeweight in the deal after an underwhelming season at Stamford Bridge.

DEULOFEU BACK AT EVERTON
Everton appear set to get their hands on Gerard Deulofeu again, with it being reported that a deal has been agreed to take the Barcelona winger back to Goodison Park.

The 21-year-old played 29 games in a loan spell during Roberto Martinez's first season in charge of the club, and the Spanish manager is all set to bring back his compatriot on a four-year deal.

RAMOS WANTS OUT
It's starting to look like Sergio Ramos to United could actually happen.
It is reported the defender met Real's general director Jose Angel Sanchez at the club's training ground yesterday to request that he be allowed to leave.
Sky Sports says that doesn't necessarily mean he's United bound, with the player needing some convincing that England would be his best destination.
AS reported that United are willing to pay Ramos around £8.5million per year if he were willing to move to Old Trafford.
Marca claims both Ramos and Real want the matter resolving before the club leaves for its pre-season tour to Australia on July 11.

COSTA TO BAYERN
Douglas Costa, the Brazilian perennially linked with the Premier League, appears to be on the move, but it won't be to these shores.
Reports in Germany suggest Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk over a £25million transfer.

BAYERN'S DI MARIA DESIRE
Despite Sky Deutschland claiming that Bayern Munich are interested in signing Angel Di Maria, Sky Sports understands Manchester United will refuse to sell their record signing.
James Cooper insists: "United won't budge on this and Di Maria won't be going anywhere else this summer." If Bayern can't persuade United to sell, then they will reportedly target Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann instead.

LIVERPOOL'S CLYNE OFFER ACCEPTED
Liverpool have had an improved offer of £12.5million accepted by Southampton for Nathaniel Clyne, according to numerous reports.
The Reds have had at least one previous offer of around £10million rejected, but the Saints appear willing to accept the latest figure faxed across from Anfield, with £10.5million being paid up front and the rest in add-ons..
The Mirror says Clyne has made clear his desire to leave and will complete the formalities of his move when he returns from touring monasteries in Tibet Las Vegas.

CAB BACK TO FRANCE
Marseille aren't happy about accepting West Ham's bid for Dimitri Payet, so they are consoling themselves with the prospect of bringing Remi Cabella back to France.
The Newcastle playmaker is understood to be unhappy on Tyneside and keen to return home, with La Provence reporting negotiations are underway over a possible season-long loan deal.
Cabella joined Newcastle last year from Montpellier for £12million and for that price, the Toon got one goal and three assists.

KOS TO REPLACE RAMOS?
The consensus in Thursday's newspapers is that Manchester United have have made an opening bid of around £35m for Sergio Ramos, which might leave Real Madrid needing a centre-half to replace the Spaniard. That man could be Laurent Koscielny, according to the Daily Mirror.
They are apparently 'ready to launch a £21million raid' for the Frenchman, who signed a new long-term contract last year. The Mail claim that 'it now seems (Rafa) Benitez wants to pair the Arsenal man with his international colleague Raphael Varane at the heart of the Real Madrid defence'.

DI MARIA NOT FOR SALE
"The situation with Angel is quite simple. He isn't for sale and it doesn't matter who might be interested in him," are the words of a 'Manchester United source' to Daily Star reporter Jeremy Cross, who says that Barcelona will 'test the water' with a £45m bid for the Manchester United winger.
Di maria admitted that he is unhappy but claims that he is not looking for a move away from United despite reported interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

WHAT NEXT FOR LIVERPOOL?
A whole bevvy of Merseyside reporters are claiming that Liverpool have increased their offer to Southampton for Nathaniel Clyne to £10.5m - rising to £12.5m - so we assume this information has come from Anfield and is solid. The deal is expected to go through very soon.
The next priority has to be a striker and the Daily Mirror claim that 'Liverpool will step up their bid to land £21.5million striker target Carlos Bacca following their successful swoop for Brazil playmaker Roberto Firmino'. The potential fly in the ointment could be Manchester United interest in Bacca, who scored 20 goals in La Liga for Sevilla last season.
