Keshi: "Applying for another Job is normal"

Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi has dismissed the basis for which he has been harrassed by officials of the glass house (NFF) stating those after him might have other motives than was being portrayed to the public.He's relationship with the glass house in he's second stint as Super Eagles boss just continues to deteriorate but speaking on a radio station monitored in Abuja on Monday,
Keshi said  that it was normal in football for coaches who were under contract to seek other jobs if they so desire, citing the case of former New Castle manager, Allen Pardew, and Rafael Benitez as some of the coaches in Europe who were under contract and yet reached out for new jobs.

“These things happen in football, it is not the end of the world. They are taking it as if these things don’t happen anywhere, this is football.” he said, even as he maintained that he never applied for the job in question.
“I don’t even know what they are talking about; I didn’t apply for the job they are talking about but they are trying to put on my head. If they are putting on my head, it means that there is a mission somewhere,” he said.Meanwhile, no staff of the federation either confirmed or denied the query purportedly issued to the coach. NFF Head of media, Ademola Olajire, who denied knowledge of such query said, “ I can only confirm to you what I know.”
Also Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama faces a ban from the NFF from future super Eagles games.
