Brazilian club Santos says it is filing a complaint to FIFA against Barcelona and Neymar seeking compensation for irregularities in the player's transfer to the Spanish club two years ago.

Santos president Modesto Roma said Friday that the company owned by Neymar's father is also named in the complaint.

Santos officially received $18.7 million for the player's transfer in 2013, but it claims that investigations in Spain later showed that Barcelona spent nearly $91 million to acquire Neymar.
Roma, who cried when he talked about Neymar, said the decision to file the complaint came after a probe conducted by its legal department, which showed should have received more from the transfer.
Roma said the complaint is not ''against our idol,'' it's ''for the good of the club.''
