Well Polish and German Champions Bayern Munich star
Robert Lewandowski pulled off a somewhat "god-esque" goalscoring spree yesterday after
the Bavarians were trailing Wolfsburg 1-0 at half-time.
Munich were
disappointing largely in the first period and fell behind to a goal from Daniel
Caligiuri in the 26th minute despite coming into the game as favourites on the back of a 100%
record so far in the Bundesliga.
Lewy was introduced into the game replacing
former Barcelona Midfielder Thiago Alcantara, a change which would prove to be
the major determining factor of the game and a master stroke by Coach Pep
Guardiola as it took the polish hitman just 6 minutes to equalize and a further
9, in the 51,52,55,57,60 minutes respectively to put Wolfsburg to the sword scoring a whopping 5.
He also tore up the
records books in Germany as he completed his hat-trick in just four minutes the
fastest ever scored in Bundesliga history although he needed three attempts having been
denied by the post and then a save from Wolfsburg keeper Diego Benalgio before
finding the net.
After the game he shared this Twitter picture with his wife Anna
Stachurska gesturing his five goal haul against Wolfsburg. Amazing stuff really!
