Federation cup 2015 round up as Pillars, Enyimba crash out....

The beauty of the Federation Cup, Nigeria's foremost Cup competition shone on Wednesday after there were some really surprising giant killings that took place after the round of matches.
Current Glo Premier League champions Pillars, continued their bad form of late although they won their last Premier League game. They lost 4-2 on penalties to Plateau United, after full time Proceedings ended in a goalless draw.
Meanwhile Federation Cup winners in the last two years Enyimba of Aba, also crashed out after losing 3-1 on penalties to second-tier side Remo Stars. The teams were drawn 1-1 after full time.
In another fixture that saw two NPFL sides squaring up, Heartland of Owerri were able to edged out  Port Harcourt based team Sharks 1-0, while Rangers thrashed Kukuruku FC 3-0 with their funny name….
In other results, Prime FC advanced 5-3 winning a penalty shootout after both teams had seen out a draw 1-1 during 120 minutes of game-play; Kwara United had to also rely on spot kicks to see off ABU 5-3, while Lobi Stars saw off Niger Tornadoes by a lone goal.
