Video: Cristiano Ronaldo tight-lipped over claims Sepp Blatter netted his ex

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo hit out at the press yesterday in the wake of fresh stories circulating that under fire pensioner Sepp Blatter netted his ex-model girlfriend Irina Shayk.

The former Manchester United idol posted a video thanking his fans after what he says has been a tough year, though he did not go into any details.
He underwent a self imposed media blackout for the final few months of the season after being angry at the criticism he was facing. His mood will hardly have been helped after failing to win a single trophy this term while watching bitter rivals Barcelona sweep all before them on the way to a possible today.
But the timing of Ronaldo’s video today is curious, especially in light of stories of the 79-year-old Fifa president Blatter scoring with his ex-partner, even if it was before the former Red Devil was on the scene.
The revelations hardly reflect well on Shayk’s taste in men but despite the embarrassment Ronaldo was remaining tight-lipped on the subject.
