IfeanyiUbah FC sack Bulgarian manager, appoint John Obuh as new coach

Ifeany Ubah FC players warm up before an NPFL game

Former Flying Eagles coach John Obuh has been appointed as the new manager at new Nnewi Money-bags IfeanyiUbah FC. Obuh takes over from Bulgarian Mitko Dobrev and would be assisted by German Jurgen Presse.

Obuh who has been without a club since he parted ways with Enugu Rangers last season has worked with Mr Presse before at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup where Nigeria reached the knockout stage. It has been revealed that the news of the managerial change was announced directly to the players by the Club owner Oil magnate Ifeanyi Ubah. As reported by Soccer Alerts he had already warned that he wouldn't tolerate any setbacks for the club and it seems the loss to Wikki Tourist at the Weekend was the last straw for Bulgarian tactician Dobrev. IfeanyiUbah FC needed a win to climb to the top of the league with the club owner watching from the stands and after the huge 500,000 Naira per goal motivation from the owner the "new Chelsea of Nigerian Football" fell to a loss in front of their home fans.
