FIFA 16 to feature female Footballers
International Women teams will feature in Soccer Video Game FIFA 2016 for the first time in history.
Until now only men's teams have featured on the popular EA Sports game which was first released in 1993. Although the announcement from EA Sports has gotten a lot of sexist response especially on social media it is thought that the move is for the general good and Unity of the game. 12 Women International teams have been selected for the installation and play in one of the several game modes. The female international teams which would be present on the game include Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and the USA. No female African team was therefore selected for the pilot mode. The Women's World Cup starts tommorow though in Canada and you have the pleasure to watch your favourite female stars battle it out for glory on the global stage keeping in mind they would soon be on our game consoles.
