Barcelona are gearing up to complete their run at a second treble in
six years, with both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals left
to play.
But before they do, the La Liga champions have already
begun preparations for next season and beyond, releasing both the new
kits for the upcoming campaign as well as their plans to upgrade the
Camp Nou.
The iconic stadium’s 600 million Euros worth of
renovations will include the installation of a full roof, as well as an
expansion of the upper terrace, which will increase the Camp Nou’s
already enormous capacity of 99,300 to 105,000.
Meanwhile, the club also officially put the kits for next season on
sale to the public, and the home kit’s new design will be sure to raise a
few eyebrows.
As we first speculated back in december,
gone are the classic red and blue vertical stripes, and in are
horizontal hoops… for the first time in Barca’s 115-year history. Meanwhile Dani Alves has hinted he doesn't feel respected and as such might eventually leave the club.
