Robin van Persie has reportedly agreed terms ahead of a move to Fenerbahce.
Sad one United fans but the Guardian are reporting that Striker Robin Van Persie has agreed terms on a move to Turkish side Fernabahce. Manchester United and Fenerbahce are still said to be negotiating a transfer fee but it is reported that Van Persie has accepted personal terms on a four-year contract.
The 31-year-old stated recently that he will only leave United if the move was right for his family. Van Persie's wife is said to have had reservations over moving to Turkey but she is now said to be willing to relocate after spending the last week in Istanbul.
The move would bring to an end Van Persie's three-year stay at Old Trafford. The forward joined the red devil's from Arsenal for £24million in 2012 and the Dutchman earned the club's Player of the Season award after scoring 28 goals which fired the Red Devils to the title during Sir Alex Ferguson's final year in charge.
