Sorry Arsenal fans but it seems German Champions Bayern Munich have agreed a fee with Italian Champions Juventus for midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Chilean looks set to join the German champions for a fee of £28million, according to multiple reports in Italy. Germany’s Kicker though is reporting the fee is around £26 million. Vidal is expected to sign a 5-year-deal believed to be worth around $7 million a season as early as Thursday night.
Pep Guardiola has been crucial in the Bavarians' pursuit of the 28-year-old, who was heavily linked with moves to Real madrid and Arsenal over the summer.
Though a key member of Juve's renaissance in the past four Serie A-winning years, the feeling within the club is that he is replaceable.
Vidal's contract is due to expire in the summer of 2017 - giving rise to fears that they would receive a much lower fee in a year's time.
With the fee agreed, Goal understands Vidal's move to Bayern could be completed on Thursday evening.
Meanwhile some desperate Arsenal fans have given Mathieu Flamini, Vidal's haircut after learning he was on his way to Germany. This would probably be midfielder no. whatever that they have been linked to and missed out on...Surely he won't be missed..hehehehe
