Lukas Podolski struggled for regular playing time at Arsenal.

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski would complete his move to Turkish giants Galatasaray this afternoon afternoon a fee of was reportedly agreed with the North London club. Podolski will sign his contract with the club in front of the fans after the Turkish Super League club finally got their man at the fourth attempt.

Hamza Hamzaoglu's side confirmed the news on their Twitter feed: "Germany number 10 Lukas Podolski will officially sign the contract at the Turk Telekom Arena today at 16:30 local time, 15:30 CET."
Galatasaray originally tried to sign Podolski while he was at FC Koln in 2012 but the German World Cup winner opted to sign for Arsene Wenger's side for £11m.
The Istanbul side made two more failed attempts to sign the 30-year-old, who struggled to secure a regular starting role and spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan. Despite moving to Arsenal with a fine reputation, Podolski's chances became limited as Wenger added the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck to his forward options.
