Is Mikel finally leaving Chelsea? PSG consider move

PSG consider move for Mikel Obi

Finally it seems our dear John Mikel Obi might just be presented with one of his best chances to escape from his hell hole of the Chelsea bench and this chance comes in the form of French Champions Paris Saint Germain as reports reveal that the Ligue 1 moneybags are considering signing the Nigerian when the window reopens in  January.
Chelsea also have a definitive and confirmed interest in PSG’s defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi and might try making their move when the market reopens. Mikel could be used by Chelsea as makeweight in the deal taking the France star to Stamford Bridge.
Paris Saint Germain however are aware that star midfielder Matuidi is also being tracked by several European powerhouses apart from Chelsea and have lined up Mikel as his replacement should he eventually depart the Parc des Princes in the near future, and if that is the case the Nigeria international will be purchased outright.
The 28 - year - old and his Russian fiancee Olga Diyachenko recently welcomed their twins into the world and this contributed to his decision to stay put in London in the first half of this season despite interest from outside the Premier League.
Fenerbahce and Besiktas have not giving up however on signing the Nigerian midfielder and it is understood  he would give the Turkish giants a definite answer in December.
Just like the 2014 - 15 campaign, the Super Eagles star has not featured much for Chelsea in the renewed campaign with only a meager 61 minutes of game time in the top flight after seven rounds.
