Today's Transfer Gossip

Lucas Biglia is being reportedly targeted by Manchester United

Manchester United have a new £18.5m midfielder on their radar in Lucas Biglia and Old Trafford striker Javier Hernandez is wanted by Atletico Madrid...

 CITY TARGET STRIKER SIGNING
Manchester City have made a world-class striker one of their top priorities in this summer's transfer window, according to ESPN FC. Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain and Real Madrid frontman Karim Benzema are apparently on City's shopping list with the futures of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic in doubt.

LIVERPOOL CLOSE IN ON FIRMINO
Liverpool are said to be "close to an agreement" for Roberto Firmino, according to Brazilian website Globoesporte. Man Utd and man City are also in reportedly in the hunt for the Brazil playmaker, who is currently in Chile at the Copa America.

UNITED TARGET £18.5M BIGLIA
The Express reports Manchester United are preparing a "sensational" £18.5m bid for Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia. We are not quite sure what is "sensational" about a move for a 29-year-old Argentina international who has not been turning up any trees in Serie A, but who are we to question "the world's greatest newspaper"?
The former Anderlecht man is two years into a five-year contract and a move to Old Trafford, shall we say, looks very unlikely.

ATLETICO TARGET HERNANDEZ
Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez could be on his way back to Madrid this summer to join Atletico, according to Fox Sports.
The Mexico striker spent the whole of last season on loan at Real Madrid but failed to secure a permanent move to the Bernabeu and now Atletico boss Diego Simeone has expressed an interest in signing the 27-year-old to replace Mario Mandzukic. Hernandez, who has been linked with Inter Milan, looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer and he is expected to have a number of offers to mull over and Atletico may well be one of them.

CITY TRACKING UNAL
Manchester City are moving closer to signing Enes Unal, the Bursapor and Turkey striker, according to The Times.
Ther 18-year-old is seen as one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe and City will make a bid of around £2.5m to add him to their Under-21 squad. The youngster has already played for Turkey at senior level and he has one year left on his contract in Turkey.
