Puma unleash lightest boots ever made
Puma’s lightest and most revolutionary soccer boot ever has finally been officially unleashed to the market.
Fresh off the heels of the Camo version, Puma has officially released the evoSPEED 1.4 SL, a boot that weighs in at an astonishing 103grams or 3.6oz! The release colorway comes in a fiery and very vibrant Red Lava Blast.

The majority of the reduction of weight was achieved by Puma’s inclusion of a translucent textile upper material. It has a see through appearance under light and is extremely thin. Underfoot has also undergone some extreme maintenance, with a low weight PUMA SPEEDFRAME adding to the overall lightweight theme. In order for stability to remain a key factor in the boot, the evoSPEED SL has also been built with a minimalist heel counter that provides the foot with a snug fit through wear. Overall, it is an incredibly constructed boot and provides players with an absolutely unique type of performance.
Superstars Sergio Aguero, Radamel Falcao and Marco Reus were on hand to launch the new Puma 'evoSPEED SL' boot, billed as the lightest match footwear made to date.

At just 103 grams per boot, the evoSPEED SL is certainly made for pace, with the bright red shade set to make it look like some of the world's top stars are literally on fire. Of the boot, Aguero said: “I am still amazed at how light these boots actually are. When the box with the boots was delivered to my house a few weeks ago, I thought the box was empty.
"This boot is a real step forward and Puma has done a really impressive job creating it.”
Reus added: “This new boot is a real change to what we have been wearing before, it actually looks and feels like a totally new product.
"They are so light, you can almost not feel them and still they give me exactly that support I need from a boot. This is a whole new direction of boot design.”

Aguero and Falcao are therefore on Copa America where Chile claimed a Semi final spot yesterday night duties in Chile while Reus is preparing for another season whith Borrusia Dortmund.
